This Senior Software Development Engineer will lead the transformation of our healthcare platform at Signify Health (a CVS company).

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion best practices in software engineering and mentor peers.
  • Define system architecture in collaboration with product and design teams.
  • Architect microservices using messaging systems (Kafka, NServiceBus, RabbitMQ) and cloud platforms.
  • Guide database design and optimization using SQL Server, Postgres, and Snowflake.
  • Provide UI technical guidance using Angular and insights from React.
  • Design robust search and analytics solutions using Elasticsearch.
  • Lead cross-functional technical discussions and operational stewardship.
  • Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies such as gRPC and Akka.net.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years in software development with backend and distributed architectures.
  • Expertise in .NET/C# or Java for complex, scalable applications.
  • Extensive microservices architecture and cloud technology experience.
  • Proficiency with containerization and infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Strong database and data warehousing skills.
  • Experience in front-end development with Angular, plus familiarity with React.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and mentorship abilities.
