About the Role
The Associate Director, Lease Administration based in Manila will oversee global lease operations for a premier banking client. This role leads the Data Management team across Manila and Kuala Lumpur, ensuring operational efficiency, high data quality, audit and IFRS 16 compliance, and strong client engagement through scalable workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead & Develop Teams: Manage lease administrators and analysts, set performance metrics, mentor staff, and optimize resources.
- Drive Operational Excellence: Standardize workflows, implement automation, and ensure efficient lease administration processes.
- Ensure Data Integrity & Compliance: Conduct internal audits, support SOC 1/SOC 2 requirements, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Manage Client Relationships: Act as primary client interface, deliver insights, handle escalations, and foster trust.
- Oversee Transitions & Systems Integration: Lead onboarding for new portfolios, maintain governance frameworks, and ensure IFRS 16 compliance.
About You
A suitable candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certifications (RPA, CPM, CLFP) are preferred. You should bring 10+ years of experience in lease administration with at least 5 years in leadership roles, ideally within global banking. Strong skills in lease abstraction, rent analytics, IFRS 16 compliance, and operational data integrity are required. Proficiency in systems such as Horizon, MRI, Excel, and dashboard/reporting tools is essential.
