Role Overview - Care Navigator
The Care Navigator supports Curana providers and care managers with non-clinical tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong background in medical administration, excellent communication skills, and can adapt to virtual platforms.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Patient Support: Address inquiries via telephone, manage messages on the Patient Portal, and assist with scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Provider Support: Manage electronic health records, coordinate documents, facilitate provider orders, and maintain patient rosters.
- Communication Support: Answer incoming calls professionally and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
- Additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years in a medical office or senior living community; experience with EHR or practice management tools.
Required Skills: Strong medical terminology knowledge, ability to interpret medical records and lab results, excellent organizational skills, proficient in computer skills and virtual platforms.
Preferred: Experience with virtual triage and bilingual/multilingual communication skills.
Travel & Work Arrangement
This is a 100% remote position requiring a reliable high-speed internet connection.
