Summary
At Curana Health, data is a strategic asset that helps drive better business decisions, operational excellence, and organizational growth. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll partner with stakeholders across the organization to develop reporting, dashboards, tracking tools, and other analytical solutions that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and standardization. Working closely with business leaders, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams, you'll help translate business needs into scalable tools, processes, and insights that support performance and decision-making.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Own and enhance foundational data within SQL Server, ensuring data quality, integrity, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
- Partner with Project Managers, Department Directors, and business leaders to gather requirements, align solutions, and drive consistency and standardization across the platform.
- Identify and analyze project and technical risks & impacts; define alternatives & prioritizations to remove roadblocks.
- Assist with product assessments including fit/gap analysis, building PoCs and providing recommendations on data architecture/tool, etc.
- Drive system and tool optimization activities by reviewing current processes and implementing change when necessary.
- Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights and support informed decision-making.

Qualifications
- BS/BA in a quantitative, technical, or analytically focused field such as: Analytics/Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science/Software Engineering, Information Systems/MIS/IT, Informatics, Business Intelligence
- Approximately 4–6 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, data visualization, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including experience querying, analyzing, and transforming data to support reporting and business decision-making
- Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI (preferred) or Tableau
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience gathering business requirements, partnering with stakeholders, and translating business needs into reporting and analytics solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends and opportunities, and deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and influence decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, drive process improvements, and support organizational change initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with healthcare data, including claims, eligibility, provider, clinical, quality, or revenue cycle data
- Familiarity with healthcare technology environments and data privacy requirements, including HIPAA.
