Field Service Technician - Cubic Transportation Systems
Join Cubic Transportation Systems, a global market leader with over 50 years of transportation experience. We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to maintain and repair Cubic equipment on Transport for London and National Rail infrastructure. This is a permanent day shift role with a 4x4 shift rotation, offering a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in automated fare collection and contactless payments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on Cubic equipment.
- Respond quickly to repair equipment and follow established maintenance procedures.
- Actively participate in training and embrace continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimize equipment downtime during fault callouts.
- Assist with equipment installations.
- Comply with all Health and Safety and quality standards.
- Handle equipment module delivery and collections.
- Support Management in lead project work.
- Deputize for the Field Service Team Leader as required.
- Conduct vehicle stock checks.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain assigned vehicle and FORs accreditation.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Hands-on experience in a technical service/maintenance environment.
- Engineering qualification.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Clean driving license.
Desirable Experience:
- HNC or equivalent in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with SLA-driven contracts.
