Job Summary
CSX, a Fortune 250 company, is seeking future business leaders to help foster growth, efficiency and innovation as a Finance Specialist. In this full-time role, you will work within Sales & Marketing, Operations, or Corporate Finance, participating in a structured orientation to CSX, Finance, and the Railroad industry.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities
- Analyze marketing, operating, and capital projects to assess economic tradeoffs.
- Provide analytical support for operations reviews, resource allocations, and financial valuations.
- Deliver presentations to senior management and cross-departmental business partners.
- Handle miscellaneous activities as assigned by the manager.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with less than 1 year of experience required. Must have a GPA of at least 3.0 and completed by June 2019.
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate Degree and less than 1 year of experience in relevant fields.
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to deliver presentations to senior level audiences
- Adept in analyzing complex business issues
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Understanding of corporate financial principles and practices
- Demonstrated leadership in alignment with CSX Leadership Model
Job Requirements
Work hours may vary and can include non-standard weeks. This position is primarily based in an office environment.
