About the Role: Technical Business Analyst at CSI
We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst with experience supporting customer-facing web applications and API integrations. This role works closely with internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors to gather, analyze, and document requirements that drive the development of CSI’s Digital Banking Platform features. You will collaborate with product, design, architecture, and engineering to ensure requirements are clear, technically sound, and aligned with business objectives.
In This Role, You Will
- Work directly with product managers, architects, designers, and technical leads to create functional, non-functional, and technical requirements.
- Drive the execution of software features from design through development, release, and commercialization.
- Create visual and written documentation to support design, development, and release of features.
- Assist with the creation of technical design documents.
- Interface with internal stakeholders to produce client-facing product guides.
- Create acceptance criteria for QA teams to support automated testing.
- Lead Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint demos with a full-stack development team.
- Perform validation and sign-off to ensure delivered solutions meet business needs and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to Digital Banking products and services.
- Review and interpret API specifications, developing requirements for platform implementation.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure successful integration and adherence to industry standards.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with clients and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Conduct gap analyses and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
- Create and maintain business requirement documents, process flows, and user stories.
- Support QA and UAT efforts by developing test cases and coordinating testing activities.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in digital banking and API development.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience working with UI/UX designers.
- Experience working directly with full-stack application development teams.
- Ability to read and understand API specification documents and assist others in using them.
- Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) for requirements management, documentation, Agile planning, and workflow tracking.
- Strong documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred
- 2+ years of software/application development experience.
- Experience working in a SaaS company.
- 2+ years in banking or FinTech.
