CSI Companies is seeking a highly motivated Proposal Specialist to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In this pivotal role, you will lead the end-to-end development of high-quality, compelling, and compliant proposals, as well as client-facing presentations in response to Request for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Information (RFI). From kickoff to submission and presentation, you will ensure all materials provide clarity, strategic alignment, and adhere to strict requirements. You will serve as a trusted partner to CSI’s senior leadership across various divisions, collaborating to develop persuasive responses that clearly articulate proposed solutions and highlight CSI’s unique value proposition.

What You'll Do:

• Lead end-to-end development of proposals and pursuit deliverables, ensuring on-time, compliant, and high-quality results from kickoff through final submission.
• Analyze RFPs and pursuit requirements to identify compliance needs, evaluation criteria, risks, and strategic win opportunities.
• Develop comprehensive proposal structures, including compliance matrices, outlines, storyboards, and timelines, to guide contributors and ensure clarity.
• Collaborate effectively with senior leadership to shape win themes, key messaging, and strategic positioning across all written and visual proposal materials.
• Gather and synthesize technical and subject-matter insights to craft compelling, client-focused proposal and presentation content.
• Write and refine proposal sections and presentation materials to deliver clear, persuasive, and evaluator-aligned messaging.
• Manage cross-functional working sessions, timelines, and action items to maintain development momentum for proposals and presentations.
• Maintain and enhance the proposal content library, supporting continuous process improvements to elevate team efficiency and output quality.

Your Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
• Proven experience in proposal development (e.g., Proposal Writer, Proposal Manager), supporting complex, strategic pursuits.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to specific clients, evaluators, and presentation audiences.
• Strong understanding of proposal best practices, compliance requirements, and review processes.
• Skilled in translating complex or technical information into clear, compelling narratives for both written proposals and client-facing presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, including experience developing executive-level presentations and performing light graphic design (e.g., slide layout, visual hierarchy, formatting).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple concurrent deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confidently collaborating with senior leaders and subject matter experts.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality, consistency, and compliance.
• Familiarity with proposal management systems and collaborative document tools is preferred.
