Role Overview: Test Engineer Lead - Automation
This role involves owning and driving the test automation strategy through AI-assisted testing integration and leadership of automation initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Own the test automation strategy for ST/SIT including what to automate and how.
- Lead the automation framework using tools such as Robot Framework and Playwright.
- Utilize AI for test design, scripting, data creation, and analysis.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for reliable testing cycles.
- Guide and mentor teams, review automation work, and uphold best practices.
You Should Have
- 8–12 years of overall testing experience with at least 5 years in automation leadership.
- Proficiency in modern automation stacks like Robot Framework, Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
- Basic scripting skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Experience with AI-assisted testing tools for test design and script generation.
- Strong CI/CD knowledge with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive collaboration across teams.
