Job Description
Position: Associate Tax Compliance Specialist
As an Associate Tax Compliance Specialist at CSC, you will be an integral part of a collaborative local team, working under the guidance of a Senior Tax Manager. Your primary responsibility will involve managing the tax compliance for a dedicated portfolio of client companies, with a specific sector focus. With strong support from your Senior Tax Manager, you will ensure all client entities adhere fully to Spanish tax regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure tax compliance across various areas, including VAT (IVA), Corporate Income Tax (Impuesto sobre Sociedades - IS), Withholding Taxes (Retenciones), Non-Resident Income Tax (Impuesto sobre la Renta de No Residentes), Transfer Tax (Impuesto sobre Transmisiones Patrimoniales), Economic Activities Tax (Impuesto sobre Actividades Económicas), and other local taxes.
- Manage clients' tax census status and fiscal registrations.
- Prepare written communications for submission to Spanish Tax Authorities.
- Oversee and monitor tax procedures and inspections.
Technical Competencies, Experience, and Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Tax Law, Business Administration and Management, or related fields.
- High level of English, with the ability to communicate fluently with clients (B2–C1 level).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
