Job Overview: Spacecraft Operations Engineer

This role ensures proper in-flight operations for the Metep/Metop-SG spacecraft and provides on-call service. The candidate will be responsible for mission planning checks, monitoring daily operations, performance reporting, and supporting anomaly resolution. They will also contribute to various operations preparation activities and technical tool development.

• Perform mission planning checks and daily monitoring.
• Report subsystem health and performance using analysis tools.
• Contribute to anomaly investigation and resolution.
• Develop operational baselines and prepare performance reports.
• Engage in operations preparation and verification activities.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves end-to-end operational support for the spacecraft including:

• On-call mission planning and periodic operational checks.
• Preparation and validation of operational data units and documentation.
• Support for LEOP, commissioning, and routine operations.
• Utilization and assistance with APEX and FOP tool kits.
• Contributing to training development at satellite level.
