Job Description
The Claims Specialist - Sharing Economy will be a key part of a dynamic team overseeing claims arising from rideshare-related incidents. The role involves technical oversight of Bodily Injury (BI), Auto Physical Damage (APD), Medical Payments (MP), and Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims managed by Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
- TPA Oversight: Provide technical supervision and guidance for BI and PIP claims.
- Claims Management: Oversee rideshare claims with expertise on coverage, litigation, and fraud.
- Technical Excellence: Control indemnity, expense, and litigation costs through reserving and trial preparation.
- Auditing & Data Analysis: Conduct audits, review data, analyze reserve adequacy, and recommend improvements.
- Industry Awareness: Stay updated on rideshare regulations and policy changes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, TPAs, and defense counsel for consistent outcomes.
What You Will Bring
- Minimum three years experience in relevant claims management.
- Experience in handling BI, APD, PIP, Med Pay and rideshare claims is preferred.
- College degree preferred with additional certifications considered a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required state licenses.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; occasional travel required.
