Job Overview

The Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South Hills, the only full-service hotel in the Pittsburgh South Hills, is looking for a Guest Service Agent to provide exceptional service to guests.

What You'll Do

Guest Check-in and Check-out: Adhere to Company Core Values and Mission Statement while performing duties as outlined in the Front Office Training Procedures. Check guests in and out courteously using the appropriate greetings and phrases. Provide detailed information about available services, facilities, points of interest, and entertainment attractions, and assist with reservations.

Guest Services: Offer personalized assistance to guest needs and requests, respond in a timely manner, maintain confidentiality, and conduct all interactions in a friendly and attentive manner.

Guest Reservations: Utilize proper telephone and reservation etiquette, including describing the hotel, providing rate quotations, and capturing reservations accurately.

Front Office Functions: Manage cash drawer and credit card system accurately, operate a phone system in a fast-paced environment, communicate shift information effectively, and work safely and conscientiously.

What You'll Receive

This is a Full-Time position starting at $16.37 per hour. Benefits include medical and dental coverage, life insurance, vacation and sick time, and IHG travel perks.

Requirements

Previous hotel guest service experience is a plus. Proficiency with computer and phone use is required.
