About the Role

As a Field Service Mechanic, you will be responsible for the comprehensive maintenance and repair of Crown and other makes of lift trucks. This role requires a proactive approach to diagnostics, repair, and planned maintenance, ensuring our customers' equipment operates at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various makes of lift trucks.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
• Maintain and manage service van inventory and upkeep.
• Process all job-related paperwork efficiently upon completion.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than 2 years of related experience.
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer care skills.
• Technical degree or previous lift truck repair experience.
• Welding experience and familiarity with various testing equipment.
• Familiarity with common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder.
• Industry-related training and ability to read service manuals.
