The Sr. QA Automation Engineer - Data Platform role is a full-time remote position open to candidates in Romania. Join a team that develops large scale distributed systems processing trillions of security events daily.

About the Role

This role is ideal for experienced SDET / Test Automation Engineers passionate about ensuring quality in cloud-based cybersecurity systems. You will work on developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated test suites and tools, validating integration and performance across microservices in a distributed environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites and frameworks.
  • Validate integrations of platform systems, services and data.
  • Collaborate across teams to improve release quality and velocity.
  • Leverage open source tools and innovative testing methodologies.
  • Support core infrastructure and customer-facing features.

Technologies & Tools

You will use tools and technologies including Go, Python, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, SQL, Redis, and AWS Cloud.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years in Quality Assurance and 2+ years in test automation.
  • Strong programming skills and solid experience in OOP and data structures.
  • Experience with Web Services (JSON, REST, gRPC, XML) and CI/CD systems.
  • Team collaboration skills in a fast-paced, test-driven environment.
