About The Role
The Sr. Software Engineer Linux Sensor is a Software Development Engineer (SDE) role, focused on delivering a lightweight sensor for container optimized Linux distributions. This role involves designing and implementing new features for securing cloud workloads using technologies such as eBPF, Kubernetes, and Docker.
What You'll Do
- Create and maintain high-performance Linux system software components.
- Design comprehensive test strategies and debug complex issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for sensor and cloud integration.
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance.
- Lead technical initiatives focusing on containers and orchestrators security.
What You'll Need
- Extensive experience in Linux/Unix development in C/C++.
- Experience with high concurrency and multi-threading requirements.
- Proven skills in production eBPF code for security or networking.
- Expertise in container runtime engines and cloud native technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in a distributed team.
