About The Role
The Sr. Security Researcher - Collection Operations Support will join the Intelligence Team to support and advise on both technical and non-technical collection activities in support of finished intelligence products and RFIs. This role involves leveraging operational tradecraft to develop unique sources of cyber threat intelligence and produce finished intelligence insights for CrowdStrike customers and stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and respond to internal and external RFIs and collection tasks.
- Triaging tickets and assigning collection requirements to appropriate teams.
- Identify novel collection activities to address intelligence gaps.
- Employ secure virtual operational tradecraft methods during research.
- Maintain awareness of threat actor tactics and emerging cyber threats.
What You'll Need
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA.
- Deep understanding of the full Intelligence Cycle including RFIs and collection management.
- Strong open source research skills and comfort with deep/dark web navigation.
- Technical knowledge on virtual machines, internet protocols, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with underground environments, hidden services, and cybersecurity terminologies.

- Foreign language proficiency (e.g., Russian, Farsi, Chinese, Korean, Japanese).
- Prior experience in intelligence community, HUMINT, counter-intelligence or cyber threat intelligence.
- Relevant academic background or military/intelligence community training.
