About The Role
In the role of Senior Software Assurance Engineer - Product Security, you will help protect CrowdStrike and its customers from advanced threats by assessing, designing, and implementing security controls and systems across the entire software supply chain.
What You'll Do
- Assess risk and provide security guidance on software and systems.
- Design and implement tools to secure and monitor build pipelines.
- Harden open source code usage and development practices.
- Investigate systems to improve security posture.
- Manage large-scale, cross-cutting security projects.
What You'll Need
- Engineering experience in designing and supporting security systems.
- Experience with Linux/Unix like configurations.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (shell, Python, Golang, or JavaScript).
- Knowledge of networking, SDLC management, secure coding, and system hardening.
- Experience with CICD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and Argo CD.
- Understanding of TLS best practices, software signing, and PKI implementations.
Bonus Points
- Experience with monitoring/log aggregation tools (LogScale, Splunk, DataDog, Prometheus).
- Experience with version control (GitHub, BitBucket) and artifact storage (Artifactory, S3).
- Experience in large-scale cloud platforms and high concurrency systems.
- Strong communication skills and remote work experience.
- Experience with groovy pipelines and REST APIs.
