About The Role: Senior Frontend Engineer, Counter Adversary Operations Team
The Counter Adversary Operations (CAO) Team combines CrowdStrike Falcon® Intelligence and the CrowdStrike® Falcon OverWatch™ threat hunting team to disrupt today’s adversaries and raise their cost of doing business. This integrated approach, powered by trillions of telemetry events from the AI-powered CrowdStrike Falcon® platform, enables rapid action and intensified impact on adversary activity. CrowdStrike's deep adversary knowledge, expertise in stopping threats, and platform visibility make us uniquely qualified to deliver the most effective breach prevention.
CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build globally distributed, robust, and customer-centric solutions. You and your team will deliver a high-quality user experience that our customers use 24/7 to protect their systems from sophisticated adversaries. Our primary JavaScript framework is Ember, but experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js will be highly transferable. We support evergreen browsers, allowing us to push web platform boundaries while handling massive data. What You’ll Do
- Hands-on engineering, building single-page applications in Ember.
- Leverage technical expertise to guide team decisions on engineering, product direction, and design.
- Take initiative to build tools that enhance your team’s development experience.
- Write automated tests for your code to ensure quality and reliability.
- Collaborate effectively with UX Engineers, Cloud Engineers, UX Designers, User Researchers, QA Analysts, and Product Managers.
- Continuously learn about the evolving challenges and complexities within the cybersecurity industry.
- Solve complex problems while enjoying the process.
What You’ll Need
- A strong understanding of JavaScript and experience building web application user interfaces with modern frameworks (Ember, React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Robust HTML & CSS skills, including experience with pre- or post-processors (Sass, PostCSS) and frameworks (Tailwind CSS).
- Experience with testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies (QUnit, Mocha).
- Knowledge and interest in developing genuinely accessible interfaces.
- Comfortable with Git or similar version control systems and workflows.
- A desire to work collaboratively to deliver quality software and solve challenging problems.
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with client-side build processes and tools (e.g., Ember CLI, Webpack).
- Experience creating or contributing to open-source projects.
- Experience with graphics and visualization tools such as D3 or Three.js.
- Experience with UI performance measurement and optimization techniques.
- Experience with web accessibility testing and support.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Prior experience in the cybersecurity domain.
- Prior experience building enterprise Software as a Service (SaaS).
