As a Principal Engineer - NG-SIEM Search, you will help scale our systems to ingest over 100 PB daily and manage millions of queries per hour, all while driving our technical vision and product strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Evolve the technical vision for massive data ingestion and query processing.
  • Lead by example with customer focus and operational excellence.
  • Deliver key system components as either an individual contributor or in a team.
  • Develop proofs of concept, secure buy-in, and ensure on-track delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and support teams.
  • Engage with principal engineers to maintain a cohesive technical strategy.
  • Communicate effectively across a distributed, remote-first environment.
  • Occasional travel to meet teams and colleagues globally.

What You’ll Need

  • 12+ years in software engineering across multiple products and systems.
  • 8+ years in leadership roles delivering through others.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong track record of customer impact and operational excellence.
  • Experience in managing remote teams across diverse geographies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in Scala development.
  • Knowledge of one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Expertise with Kafka and Log Management systems.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity products and machine learning applications.
