About the Role
CrowdStrike is seeking a Manager, Engineering - Cloud for our Platform Auth team. This team manages both internal and external authentication and authorization services, making over 1 trillion decisions per day. You will lead a multidisciplinary team including backend, frontend, and SDET engineers while driving technical strategy and roadmap execution.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team.
- Drive roadmap and technical strategy for authentication services.
- Hire, develop, and retain talented engineers.
- Collaborate with product, support, and sales teams.
- Communicate effectively in a remote-first environment.
What You’ll Need
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years managing engineering teams and 8+ years as a software engineer.
- Experience with authentication and authorization services.
- Proficiency in Golang or similar, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, design, and security.
- Strong communication skills for remote teamwork.
Bonus Points
- Experience with cybersecurity products.
- Proven track record in hiring top engineers.
- Familiarity with Kafka, ElasticSearch, Postgres, Redis, SpiceDB.
- Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, SSO, OIDC, JWT.

Additional Information
The base salary range for this role is $140,000 - $215,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Expected close date of job posting: 11-04-2025.
