About the Role - IAM Engineer - Operations

As an IAM Engineer - Operations, you will maintain and optimize the IAM/IGA platform infrastructure. The role involves day-to-day operational support including monitoring system health, troubleshooting technical issues, managing incident response, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor platform performance and preemptively address issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems systematically.
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets based on severity.
  • Document resolutions and update statuses regularly.
  • Escalate complex problems appropriately ensuring accountability.
  • Generate and analyze performance reports for trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain platform stability.
  • Streamline IAM processes through automation and technology.
  • Enforce IAM policies, standards, and controls rigorously.
  • Advise senior leadership on IAM best practices.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Assess and optimize IAM workflows and processes.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance IAM reliability and efficiency.
  • Facilitate training and knowledge transfer sessions on IAM usage.
  • Simplify architecture and workflows to improve user experience.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IAM or IT security roles.
  • Strong expertise in IAM concepts, RBAC, SAML, OAuth, OIDC.
  • Experience with cloud platform integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Experience with access certification and SoD controls.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Capability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta OiG and Workflows.
  • Proficiency in development tools like Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with SIEM/observability tools such as Splunk, Logscale, LogRhythm, Datadog, Kibana.
