About the Role

The Curriculum Developer Multimedia Specialist will lead the transformation of instructor-led training (ILT) content into engaging, on-demand asynchronous courses. This role integrates creativity, technical expertise, and instructional design to create high-quality learning modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with SMEs, instructional designers, and stakeholders to define project goals.
  • Design interactive learning modules using Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and similar tools.
  • Convert traditional ILT materials into asynchronous courses.
  • Create multimedia content including graphics, animations, audio, and video through Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Ensure SCORM compliance and LMS compatibility.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and update eLearning modules based on feedback.
  • Apply accessibility standards and maintain quality assurance.
  • Stay updated with learning development trends and leverage AI-driven tools.
  • Act as a multimedia development subject expert for internal teams.

Technical Expertise and Skills

  • Proficiency with Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, and Adobe Captivate.
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
  • Experience with video development tools like Vyond and platforms like Vidyard.
  • Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, LMS integration, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with audio/video editing software and accessibility standards.
  • Comfortable with cloud-based collaboration tools such as Google Workspace and Zoom.

Qualifications

Proven experience in learning development, multimedia design, and instructional design. A strong understanding of adult learning theories, curriculum development principles, and project management. Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design or related field, or equivalent experience. Certification or training in learning development tools is a plus.
