About the Role
CrowdStrike is a global leader in cybersecurity, protecting the innovations that drive modern organizations. The A/V Engineer will join the IT Network Engineering team, responsible for building and supporting AV infrastructure at scale, including collaboration spaces, conference room technology, and video collaboration platforms. This role involves close collaboration with multiple teams, detailed documentation, and serving as a technical subject matter expert.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and operate conference room technology and video collaboration platforms such as Slack, Google Meet, and Zoom.
- Monitor AV infrastructure, document issues, and recommend performance improvements.
- Create and update AV documentation including operational procedures.
- Coordinate with AV vendors and partners to resolve issues and perform maintenance.
- Prepare and execute scheduled AV system maintenance during designated windows.
- Support Service Desk and on-site teams for Executive Briefing Centers with remote technical expertise.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV system issues across various platforms and hardware configurations.
- Report status updates and provide subject matter expertise in cross-team projects.
What You’ll Need
- Minimum 5+ years experience supporting enterprise customers in AV engineering.
- Proven ability to collaborate across global teams.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining AV hardware such as displays, microphones, and speakers.
- Familiarity with video conferencing platforms and account administration.
- Knowledge of AV signal distribution protocols (HDMI, HDBaseT, Dante, NDI).
- Strong technical documentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English and possession of a valid driver’s license with a working vehicle.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and willingness to travel occasionally.
Bonus Points
- Manufacturer certifications (Cisco, Zoom, Logitech, etc.).
- Experience creating AV system design drawings in AutoCAD or Visio.
- Proven track record in leading AV system deployments and technology refreshes.
- Deep understanding of AV network protocols and proficiency with ticketing systems.
