About the role
Solutions Architect - Totogi (Remote)
Legacy telecom software is built on a flawed model of oversized BSS/OSS architectures, multi-year implementations, constant customization, and suppliers who accept delays. Operators are under pressure to capitalize on 5G, accelerate MVNO launches, modernize wholesale operations, and escape vendor lock-in, but their existing platforms resist change.
Totogi offers a fundamentally different architecture. This is not a traditional BSS vendor role.
About Totogi's Products:
- Three production systems, no vaporware: Demonstrate a serverless 5G Charging system, a cloud-native Wholesale BSS solution, and the Telco Ontology—an AI-powered knowledge graph enabling LLMs to interpret a customer's complete telco infrastructure. These are deployed, operational products.
- Deployment measured in weeks, not years: Totogi delivers as SaaS on AWS, allowing for rapid deployment with live proof, not 18-month rollouts.
Your Role and Impact:
- You will drive the technical outcome through discovery sessions, product demonstrations, solution architecture, and RFP execution.
- You will build the technical argument and are a primary contributor, not a supporting role.
- You will compete directly with legacy leaders like Amdocs, Ericsson, and Nokia, armed with product differentiation in architecture, deployment speed, and economics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure technical wins in competitive deals by executing customized demonstrations.
- Facilitate discovery processes to understand customer needs.
- Architect solutions that align customer requirements with Totogi's product offerings.
- Deliver precise RFP submissions across Totogi's three offerings: Telco Ontology, AI-Native Charging, and Wholesale BSS Platform.
- Possess sufficient telecom expertise to discuss charging mechanics, billing logic, CRM architecture, product catalog design, integration patterns, 5G protocols, migration challenges, and rating complexity.
- Connect technical details to commercial outcomes in real-time.
- Function at the intersection of product capability, sales strategy, and customer context.
- Ensure deliverables accelerate deal momentum, support accurate scoping, and convert to measurable revenue.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Delivering customer demonstrations that showcase the interface and functional scope of Totogi's product portfolio.
- Conducting interviews with customer subject matter experts to surface technical constraints, pain points, and success criteria.
- Creating detailed solution scopes for the Professional Services organization, aligning customer needs with Totogi's product architecture.
- Producing RFP responses that demonstrate how Totogi's solutions address technical and business requirements within structured procurement frameworks.
What You Won’t Be Doing:
- Owning sales responsibilities or closing commercial agreements with customers.
- Producing templated Solution Scopes that ignore the unique context of each customer engagement.
- Conducting sales enablement sessions or managing administrative overhead.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in presales, solution architecture, or sales engineering roles focused on telco BSS/OSS solutions.
- Proven track record managing technical sales processes for charging, billing, BSS engagements, and lead-to-cash workflows.
- Demonstrated capability to deliver impactful product demonstrations and engage with senior technical and executive audiences.
- Hands-on experience writing code that integrates with APIs (GraphQL, REST).
- Willingness to accommodate flexible working hours for a global position, serving customers and prospects concentrated in APAC, with additional coverage in EMEA and Americas.
