When obstacles arise, you will connect via live coaching sessions, resolve the challenge immediately, and restore momentum with renewed clarity. What You Will Be Doing

• Creating precise Academic Data Reports and performing structured analysis to identify issues, detect outliers, and initiate corrections within 48 hours
• Delivering immediate-response support calls and facilitating post-assessment coaching to eliminate barriers, distinguish understanding deficits from mistakes, and sustain student engagement
• Assessing and integrating new educational applications and resources while building AI and LLM prototypes to advance learning methods and address particular obstacles
• Collaborating with leadership to enhance tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor continues to develop

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Attending endless meetings or delivering generic presentations with no visibility into actual results
• Grading assignments, developing lesson plans, or administering conventional educational programs—AI and innovation power our approach
• Working only at the strategic level without execution or being confined to repetitive tasks—this role is hands-on and evolving

Learning Designer Key Responsibilities

Accelerate student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and real-time academic intelligence, evidenced by improved indicators such as 2× learning velocity, application engagement, lesson mastery, response precision, and decreased negative learning behaviors throughout the Alpha Anywhere network.

Basic Requirements

• Proven experience in data science or similar field, education, EdTech, or a student-focused position combining analytical and interpersonal dimensions
• Competence in Google Sheets data manipulation (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
• Strong emotional intelligence, excellent communication abilities, and a coaching approach suited to children
• Track record building workflows and automations using AI

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Foundation in learning science, educational theory, or proven success enhancing outcomes through data-informed approaches
• Familiarity with Generative AI, prompting methods, and foundational coding knowledge (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for interacting with AI APIs

Working with Crossover

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
