About the Role
2 Hour Learning is seeking a Facilities Project Coordinator to transform empty shells into fully functional schools. This role involves rapid-cycle delivery, with a new campus buildout each month. You will be responsible for delivering operational school facilities on schedule and within budget across various campus types, from micro-schools to flagship locations in major metropolitan areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the complete buildout for every assigned campus, including FF&E procurement and installation, interior construction, IT infrastructure, signage, and playspace.
- Executing a compressed delivery timeline against a fixed opening date by sequencing vendor work streams and managing interdependencies.
- Coordinating and approving vendor deliverables, issuing scopes of work, overseeing on-site execution, and inspecting against specifications.
- Leveraging AI tools to draft vendor scopes, create punch lists, monitor open items, and build handoff documentation.
- Implementing standardized site deployment playbooks, confirming readiness, documenting feedback, and preparing the handoff to the ongoing operations team.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in operations, facilities, or project delivery.
- Proven experience identifying and correcting a broken process with measurable outcomes.
- Experience owning a multi-phase project from start to finish.
- Proven vendor management capabilities.
- Experience managing 2 or more concurrent projects or sites.
- Consistent use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) for productivity.
- Located in the US and authorized to work without visa sponsorship.
- Able to travel 60–80% of the time (3–4 days/week).
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Contribution to a physical buildout or site activation in any sector.
- Experience in construction project management, tenant improvement, commercial fit-out, or facilities management.
- Direct exposure to FF&E, IT setup, signage, or commercial interior work.
