CROSSMARK is seeking a dedicated Part Time Event Specialist to execute in-store food and non-food demonstrations. This role involves acquiring product knowledge, engaging with consumers, and representing brands professionally. You will be responsible for managing event execution equipment and maintaining a professional appearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean and stored properly.
• Serve as the point of contact for store management regarding event execution when a supervisor is absent.
• Assist other Event Specialists with event kits, materials, and tools.
• Provide leadership and knowledge to the team, assisting the Supervisor.
• Gain adequate knowledge of products represented and effectively communicate their features and benefits.
• Proactively intercept, engage, and sell products to consumers in a positive manner.
• Assist with and perform all job responsibilities assigned to the demo program.
• Prepare and serve food samples, including raw meats, produce, and eggs, adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Operate small appliances (microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers) and knives for food preparation.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning supplies.
• Ensure a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
• Properly set up and prepare the Event Table for execution.
• Complete all assigned work, including audit corrections and preparation for client visits.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports and all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Take digital photos of Perfect Table Setups to document success stories for clients.

Work Schedule

This role is part-time, not expected to exceed 25 hours per week, though the company reserves the right to adjust hours based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient ability to use and navigate personal computers and mobile devices.
• Food Safety Professional Certification, and a local Food Handler's permit if required.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, and hear.
• Visual ability to read instructions and perform responsibilities.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb (including a 6’ ladder), and balance.
• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart.
• Prepare foods using raw products and cooking utensils/appliances.
• Exposure to cleaning supplies.

Working Conditions

Retail store environment with limited travel.
