About JavaScript TypeScript Developer

Crossing Hurdles is a recruitment firm that refers top candidates to partners working with the world’s leading AI research labs. They are looking for engineers skilled in Rust, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python (with code agent experience) on an hourly contract basis.

Position Details

Role: JavaScript TypeScript Developer

Contract Type: Hourly Contract (10–20 hours/week, potential increase to 40 hours)

Compensation: $70–$90/hour

Duration: Minimum 2 weeks with potential for extension

Location: Remote

Responsibilities

  • Use coding agents (e.g., Codex, Claude code) to perform realistic coding tasks on real-world codebases supporting next-generation ML applications.
  • Collaborate with AI research teams to build high-performance software systems.
  • Contribute to open source projects and maintain sophisticated personal projects on GitHub.
  • Communicate clearly with team members through written and verbal means.

Requirements
