About the Investment Expert Role

Crossing Hurdles, a recruitment firm partnering with leading AI research labs, is seeking an Investment Expert to support AI model development through evaluation and feedback on AI-generated financial outputs.

Role Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI-generated financial outputs for quality and accuracy.
  • Calibrate AI decision-making in valuation, modeling, and investment analyses.
  • Simulate and audit workflows including pitch decks and due diligence documentation.
  • Provide domain-specific feedback on AI-generated investment documents.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with product and AI teams to refine processes.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Strong investment banking, private equity, or asset management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling including DCF, LBO, comps analysis, and valuation methods.
  • Familiarity with capital markets, M&A deal cycles, and transaction processes.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and presentation skills.
  • Residency in the U.S., U.K., or Canada.

Additional Details

This is an hourly contract position with flexible, asynchronous hours, requiring 10-20 hours per week for 8 weeks. Training support will be provided.
