About the Role

Crossing Hurdles is a recruitment firm referring top candidates to leading AI research labs. The Financial Analyst role is a Buyside Analyst position focused on finance within the AI and technology sectors.

Role Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth financial analyses including DCF, comparables, and precedent transactions.
  • Conduct industry and company research with a focus on AI and technology.
  • Prepare investment memos, theses, and deliver presentations to investment committees.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, track risks, and analyze macroeconomic and sector developments.
  • Support due diligence processes for private investments and partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field; CFA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong experience in buy-side research, asset management, venture capital, private equity, or investment banking.
  • Expertise in Excel financial modeling and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Pitchbook, and FactSet.
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
