Crossing Hurdles is a recruitment firm referring top candidates to our partners working with the world’s leading AI research labs. As a Film Editor at Crossing Hurdles, you will work remotely on a contract basis to provide visual annotation support for cutting-edge AI model training.

Role Responsibilities

• Analyse short video clips and images to produce structured annotations.
• Capture key details such as subjects, objects, environments, audio cues, temporal dynamics, mood, and storytelling elements.
• Apply judgment to select the best attributes that describe the scene.
• Document findings with clarity to aid AI system interpretation.
• Collaborate with project leads to follow instructions and adapt to evolving project requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in media-related fields (film editors, screenwriters, media analysts, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail to identify key visual and narrative elements.
• Ability to follow precise instructions and quickly adapt to new requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
