About Film Editor Role
Crossing Hurdles is a recruitment firm referring top candidates to our partners working with the world’s leading AI research labs. As a Film Editor at Crossing Hurdles, you will work remotely on a contract basis to provide visual annotation support for cutting-edge AI model training.
Role Responsibilities
- Analyse short video clips and images to produce structured annotations.
- Capture key details such as subjects, objects, environments, audio cues, temporal dynamics, mood, and storytelling elements.
- Apply judgment to select the best attributes that describe the scene.
- Document findings with clarity to aid AI system interpretation.
- Collaborate with project leads to follow instructions and adapt to evolving project requirements.
Requirements
- Experience in media-related fields (film editors, screenwriters, media analysts, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail to identify key visual and narrative elements.
- Ability to follow precise instructions and quickly adapt to new requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks not supported).
