Overview
Crossing Hurdles, a recruitment firm, is referring top candidates to leading AI research labs. The role of the Electronic Specialist is a contract position paying up to $80/hr, working remotely for 10–40 hours per week.
Role Responsibilities
As an Electronic Specialist, you will evaluate a wide range of electronics including phones, laptops, monitors, TVs, home theater systems, audio devices, gaming peripherals, cameras, smart home products, and networking devices. You will focus on shopper-relevant criteria like real-world performance, compatibility, and overall quality.
- Write clear product recommendations with links, specs, pros/cons and target notes.
- Compare products across price tiers and identify best options.
- Create structured comparisons, buyer’s guides, and bundle suggestions.
- Review AI-suggested picks, correct errors, and annotate missing context.
Requirements
Candidates must have experience in specialty retail or as a manufacturer product specialist, or have credible editorial experience. They should be able to translate technical specifications into actionable buyer decisions and understand standards regarding safety and compliance.
