About Computer Science Specialist at Crossing Hurdles

Crossing Hurdles is a recruitment firm referring top candidates to leading AI research labs. We are looking for Mathematics Experts to support the evaluation and auditing of AI-generated data.

Role Responsibilities

The candidate will:

  • Review and audit AI-generated submissions including prompts, solutions, and metadata.
  • Evaluate task quality using structured rubrics with 8–10 criteria for clarity, correctness, and consistency.
  • Verify accuracy of solutions, reasoning steps, and validate coding problems.
  • Provide concise, well-reasoned written feedback and justify evaluation decisions.
  • Work independently and asynchronously using provided tools and workflows.

Ideal Qualifications

Candidates should have a PhD or be a PhD candidate, or hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related STEM field. Expertise in areas such as algebra, geometry, number theory, combinatorics, probability, and graph theory along with coding and testing quality is essential. Strong analytical skills, excellent written communication, and the ability to work in a remote, asynchronous environment are required. Basic knowledge of Python and testing frameworks (such as Pytest or JUnit) is preferred.
