Crossing Hurdles is a recruitment firm referring top candidates to our partners working with the world’s leading AI research labs. The role of Computer Science Specialist focuses on reviewing and auditing AI-generated data in a remote, flexible, part-time engagement.

Role Responsibilities

  • Review and audit submitted AI-generated data including prompts, solutions, final answers, references, and metadata.
  • Evaluate task quality using structured rubrics covering 8–10 criteria.
  • Verify accuracy of solutions, reasoning steps, and chain-of-thoughts by identifying flaws or gaps.
  • Assess coding problems for test case validity, solution correctness, and language consistency.
  • Provide concise, well-reasoned written feedback to justify evaluation decisions.
  • Work independently and asynchronously using provided tools and workflows.

Ideal Qualifications

  • PhD or current PhD candidacy, or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related STEM fields.
  • Expertise in mathematics domains (algebra, geometry, combinatorics, probability, etc.) and coding areas (data structures, algorithms, QA).
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent written communication.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
  • Basic knowledge of Python and testing frameworks like Pytest or JUnit is preferred.
