Overview

Cronos Labs is seeking an experienced Smart Contract Engineer based in the APAC timezone. In this role, you will design, implement, test, and deploy smart contracts on various blockchain platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate smart contracts into decentralized applications and contribute to the evolution of our blockchain solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, and deploy secure, efficient smart contracts on platforms such as Cronos, Ethereum, Solana, etc.
  • Collaborate with the development team to integrate smart contracts into decentralized applications.
  • Stay updated on blockchain developments and smart contract platforms.
  • Recommend appropriate blockchain technologies for specific projects.
  • Test, debug, and perform security audits and code reviews.
  • Create comprehensive documentation accessible to team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure interoperability between various blockchain networks and protocols.
  • Provide feedback for continuous improvement of blockchain solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Smart Contract Developer or similar role in blockchain development.
  • Proficiency in Solidity, Node.js, and TypeScript; Golang/Rust is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain technology, consensus algorithms, and decentralized application architecture.
  • Experience with Ethereum L2 and popular blockchain platforms (Ethereum, Solana, Binance Smart Chain, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent bilingual communication in Chinese & English.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; contributions to open-source projects are a plus.

Extra Bonus

  • Experience with LayerZero or similar cross-chain protocols.
  • Good understanding of gas optimization in EVM.
  • Experience with blockchain security firms or security solution providers.
