Position Summary
The Foundation seeks an experienced Product Manager, Digital Health & Research to play an integral role in the success of IBD Plexus. This position involves managing various patient, clinician, and researcher-facing IBD Plexus technologies. The Product Manager, Digital Health & Research will collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to build, enhance, and optimize our products, maximizing IBD Plexus's value for all stakeholders. This role reports to the Associate Director, Digital Health & Research within the IBD Plexus team in the Research department.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Manage assigned product(s) for the IBD Plexus program.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog reviews, etc.
- Manage and coordinate change management across products.
- Facilitate and track User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Manage the ongoing product roadmap, balancing competing business and technical priorities, user experience, and regulatory needs.
- Track and communicate status updates effectively.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and users to gather and document requirements, evaluate new needs, and ensure alignment to strategic goals.
- Write user stories, create process flows, document field requirements/data dictionaries, create/update User Manuals, and create/update UAT trackers.
- Follow standard procedures for the Product Management team, ensuring consistency across products and stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, such as leveraging data to inform product decisions or enhancing the user experience.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4+ years working in the healthcare/life sciences field.
- 3+ years demonstrated product management experience from strategy to delivery through adoption.
- Experience eliciting, translating, and documenting user requirements, including writing user stories, creating process flows, and mockups.
- Ability to understand end-user needs and user experience in a science-based research environment.
- Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle processes and methodologies.
- Excellent problem identification, analysis, and solutioning skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation abilities.
- Scrum Master certification preferred.
- Clinical data management software experience (e.g., electronic data capture systems, clinical trial data management systems, etc.) preferred.
- Experience working in a remote environment, collaborating with distributed teams.
