Job Description

About Delta Institute

Delta Institute, part of the Crimson ecosystem, focuses on delivering high-impact, future-facing learning experiences to help students stand out globally. Our programs are at the intersection of education, industry, and innovation, providing high school students with hands-on, real-world learning across various industries like technology, consulting, law, finance, design, and entrepreneurship through cohort-based programs and global partnerships.

The Role: Senior Operations Associate, Delta Careers

As a Senior Operations Associate, Delta Careers, you will be a core owner of program delivery and experience quality, ensuring complex, multi-stakeholder programs run smoothly and seamlessly for students, mentors, and partners. This is a central role in program execution, working closely with various teams and external partners to deliver consistently high-quality experiences at scale. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, problem-solving, and continuous system improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Ownership & Delivery: Own the operational execution of Delta Careers programs from start to finish, translating program goals into clear timelines, workflows, and daily execution plans. Ensure smooth, on-time delivery to a high standard—even when conditions change.
  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Act as the primary operational point of contact for mentors, program coordinators, and internal stakeholders. Build strong working relationships through clear communication and reliability, supporting program coordinators with guidance, alignment, and escalation handling.
  • Quality, Judgment & Issue Resolution: Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, or gaps before they escalate. Exercise sound judgment in fast-moving situations to protect student experience and program quality. Handle escalations calmly, professionally, and with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Continuous Improvement: Capture feedback, insights, and learnings from each program cycle. Contribute to improving systems, templates, and processes so programs become more efficient and scalable over time. Share program highlights, testimonials, and insights with internal teams to support broader impact.

Who We're Looking For (Minimum Requirements)

  • Experience in program operations, project management, education, or coordination-heavy roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple moving parts simultaneously.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote or distributed environment.

Ideal Attributes

  • High ownership mindset: you naturally take responsibility and see things through.
  • Strong problem-solving instincts and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Thoughtful, people-centered approach when working with students, mentors, and colleagues.
  • Interest in building systems, not just executing tasks.
  • Calm under pressure and confident handling complex situations.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means programs consistently run smoothly with minimal escalations, and students, mentors, and partners report a positive, well-supported experience. Issues are anticipated and resolved proactively. Internal teams trust you as a reliable owner of program execution, and feedback leads to visible improvements in program operations, making them organized, clear, and scalable.

Why Join Delta Institute

  • Be part of a fast-growing, global organization with meaningful ownership.
  • Enjoy a flexible working environment with autonomy.
  • Benefit from strong internal mobility and an annual individual training budget.
  • Work in a culture built on trust, feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Gain exposure to global programs, partners, and innovative education models.
