About the Role
Cribl is expanding its Legal Team with a Privacy Counsel who will implement and manage the company’s global privacy program. You will work closely with product, marketing, security, and compliance teams while contributing directly to Cribl’s growth in a remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Cribl’s privacy program and ensure global compliance.
- Provide legal guidance on privacy issues including generative AI regulations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify issues and drive solutions.
- Negotiate privacy-related agreements in support of sales transactions.
- Remain current on evolving privacy laws and educate team members.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of privacy experience; CIPP/US or CIPM preferred.
- Experience with U.S. and global privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA.
- Strong project management, detail orientation, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Juris Doctorate and valid license to practice law.
