Job Description

About Cribl

Cribl does differently, meaning we're a serious company that doesn ’t take itself too seriously. We're looking for collaborative, curious, and motivated team members passionate about putting customers first. As a rapidly growing, remote-first company, we empower employees to do their best work from anywhere. Cribl serves as the data engine for IT and Security, trusted by major names in demanding industries to solve critical data needs. Join the herd and unlock your opportunity to do the best work of your career.

Why You'll Love This Role

As a Data Analyst at Cribl, you will be an integral part of the Data Analytics function, a team dedicated to supporting our Product, Customer Experience, Support, and Engineering teams. This role empowers data-driven decision-making across Cribl by scaling our business intelligence system, democratizing data use, and championing data best practices. The team also enjoys connecting remotely, at offsites, and exploring foodie hotspots. If you are passionate about making an impact and joining a company on its way to becoming legendary, we want to talk to you.

As An Active Member of Our Team, you Will Bring...

  • Partner with Product, Customer Experience, Support, and Engineering stakeholders to understand business questions and contribute to end-to-end analyses, including data querying, analysis, and visualization, with guidance from senior analysts.
  • Assist in defining, tracking, and reporting on core product and customer metrics, translating stakeholder needs into clear, well-structured dashboards and analytical outputs in our BI tool Omni Analytics.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and senior analysts to understand data sources, validate data quality, and ensure analytics datasets are reliable and well-documented.
  • Communicate insights clearly through dashboards and written summaries, adapting messaging to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • In partnership with our data enablement function, create and maintain clear documentation for dashboards, metrics, and data definitions to support stakeholder understanding and effective self-service.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, growth-oriented mindset by identifying opportunities to improve analyses or processes, asking thoughtful questions, seeking feedback, and continuously developing technical and domain expertise.
  • As a remote-first company with work across many time zones, occasional duties outside standard working hours may be required.

If You Got It - We Want It

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in an analytics, data, or related role.
  • Experience supporting product, engineering, customer experience, or support teams is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to validate queries, metrics, and dashboards by performing data quality checks, reconciling results, and ensuring outputs are accurate, consistent, and reliable.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document metrics, explain analytical outputs, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Curious, analytical, and proactive mindset, demonstrating ownership, sound judgment, and a commitment to continuous learning and technical growth.
