Human Resource Coordinator - People and Culture
Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dynamic Human Resource Coordinator to join our People and Culture department. We are committed to fostering a positive and supportive work environment for our team members.

About the Role:
The Human Resource Coordinator will manage the day-to-day operations of the People and Culture Department at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. This includes creating a positive environment focused on associate recognition, effective communication with internal and external guests, assisting with Crescent and hotel brand training to promote company culture, and responding to inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist associates with requests and information, aiming for immediate satisfaction.
- Support departments with recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Maintain and update Human Resource bulletin boards and other posting locations.
- Assist with employee relations events and recognition programs.
- Explain benefits to associates as needed.
- Manage filing and archiving of terminated employee files.
- Prepare department correspondence and memos.
- Schedule and conduct orientation sessions for new hires and manage necessary paperwork.
- Regularly audit associate files for required certifications and training (e.g., Serve Safe, TIPS, Safety trainings), uploading certificates into Ultipro.
- Understand and adhere to brand-specific and Crescent audit requirements.
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Availability to work Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
