Role Overview
As a Product Marketing Associate Director, you will drive go-to-market (GTM) strategies and plans for key offerings across the Consumer Growth platform, integrating Credit Karma with TurboTax products. You will be responsible for launching and optimizing 0-1 products, driving upsell/cross-sell initiatives, and bundling offerings to improve adoption and retention. In this individual contributor role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and report to the Director of Product Marketing.
What You’ll Do
- GTM Strategy: Develop marketing strategies, launch plans, and channel strategies through market and competitive analysis.
- Strategic Growth: Drive growth initiatives by evaluating opportunities, analyzing business performance, and executing for progress.
- GTM Execution: Collaborate with growth marketing, product, brand, and creative strategy teams to deliver on KPIs.
- Product Planning: Work with product and research teams to influence strategy and roadmap development.
- Partnership & Influence: Inspire cross-functional teams with data-driven insights and execute impactful strategies.
- Customer Journeys: Build strategies for acquisition, engagement, retention, and upsell/cross-sell.
What We Are Looking For
- BA/BS degree with 10+ years of product marketing experience; MBA preferred.
- Strong fundamentals in audience insights, segmentation, positioning, messaging, and product launches.
- Analytical and strategic mindset with a ability to turn insights into actions.
- Proven track record in driving business outcomes and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience in a consumer tech company, especially in a DTC/B2C environment.
Additional Qualities
High ownership mentality, effective delegation, comfort with ambiguity, problem-solving skills, and a growth mindset are key. Fintech and B2C subscriptions experience is a plus.
