The Role: Television Research - Jr. Associate

Join our growing Global TV Research & Insights team as we provide advanced data solutions and strategic insights to enhance the creation of opportunity for our world-class TV clients.

CAA is seeking an exceptional junior associate to provide multifaceted support across the Global TV Research & Insights team. In this role you will be a member of a highly-motivated and collaborative team responsible for the creation of cutting-edge data and analytics tools, and providing actionable strategic insights to Agents, Executives, and Clients to impact TV department business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling data narratives through the synthesis of multiple data sources to provide actionable insights around the performance of scripted, non-fiction, news, sports, kids, and comedy stand-up content across the full TV ecosystem (streaming, broadcast, and cable)
  • Contribute to the maintenance and ongoing development of the TV research database
  • Help build and maintain the Microsoft Fabric workspace, including pipelines, dataflows, and stored procedures
  • Develop and update Power BI dashboards for TV data analysis, ensuring accuracy and usability
  • Write and maintain SQL logic to extract, transform, and analyze TV data
  • Assist with data cleaning, validation, and data quality management (DMO) activities
  • Create and maintain documentation for tables, data models, dashboards, and analytical logic

Qualifications

  • BA/BS from an accredited University or College preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; highly collaborative and inclusive team player
  • Able to work in a fast-paced agency environment and can easily adapt to change
  • Must have the ability to meet deadlines and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document processes clearly
  • Working knowledge of Power BI, including building dashboards and writing DAX measures
  • Experience or exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or similar data platforms is a plus; Familiarity writing SQL or Python is a plus

On-Site in Los Angeles, CA, United States

Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is $28.00. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
