Job Description

The Director, Business Development – Food & Beverage is a strategic leadership role in CRB’s National Food + Beverage Region. The role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities across CRB’s suite of services, including architecture, engineering, control systems integration, construction services, and consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Aggressively identify and prospect national business opportunities.
  • Present CRB’s value proposition to potential clients.
  • Contribute to internal resource planning and pursuit teams.
  • Participate in weekly national go-no-go meetings for opportunity discussions.
  • Represent CRB at tradeshows, associations, and conferences.
  • Promote CRB through industry board memberships and committees.
  • Assist in developing annual business development and expense budgets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; 12-15+ years experience in AEC business development.
  • Deep network and proven track record in Food & Beverage, Ingredients, and Consumer Products.
  • Strong grasp of market trends, pricing, and delivery methods like Design-Build, Design-Assist, EPCM, and more.
  • Successful national account management and client development history.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with LinkedIn Navigator, Vision, and Industrial Information Resources is a plus.
