Job Description

The Director of Business Development – F&B is a strategic leadership position in CRB’s National Food + Beverage Region. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities across architecture, engineering, control systems integration, construction services, and consulting.

The ideal candidate is well-connected, highly driven, and experienced with the nuances of AEC services within the Food + Beverage and Consumer Products sectors. This role requires collaboration with senior leadership, technical teams, marketing, and project managers, and includes up to 70% national travel while offering a remote work option.

Responsibilities

  • Aggressively identify and secure nationwide business opportunities.
  • Present CRB’s value proposition to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for client engagements and project execution.
  • Represent CRB at industry tradeshows, conferences, and events.
  • Participate in industry boards, committees, and associations for brand awareness.
  • Assist in creating the annual Business Development plan and budget for the Food + Beverage Region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in business-related field or equivalent 12-15+ years experience.
  • Proven track record in national account management and client development.
  • Deep network in the Food + Beverage, Ingredients, and Consumer Products sectors.
  • Understanding of market trends, pricing, and various delivery methods (Design-Build, EPCM, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with LinkedIn Navigator.
