Job Description

The Construction Project Engineer supports the Project Manager and project team in executing construction activities to align with project objectives and construction document requirements. The role includes bidding support, submittal and RFI review, document control, verification of as-builts, quality control, site safety support, equipment receiving, closeout documentation management, and cost management assistance.

Responsibilities

• Support construction activities ensuring conformance to project objectives.
• Provide bidding support and maintain document control.
• Execute submittal and RFI review processes.
• Verify as-builts, support quality control and site safety.
• Manage equipment receiving and closeout documentation.
• Assist in cost management activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Science, or Engineering with up to four years of experience.

Additional Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn new project management and reporting software.
• Experience with mobile devices and VDC apps is a plus.

Location

This position is located on-site at the project location in Rochester, MI.
