The Mission of the Senior Software Engineer

Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering (WMS), your mission as a Senior Software Engineer is to design and build systems that power the post purchase journey. You will create scalable, in-house solutions that replace third-party tools, ensuring innovation and accuracy at every step. You will own projects from ideation to deployment, redefining how customers receive furniture with ease.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build new features for our flagship product — the Cozey Operating System (COS).
  • Create in-house tools and platforms to replace third-party solutions.
  • Develop AI agents to automate and streamline warehouse management workflows.
  • Collaborate with operations and product teams to identify pain points and launch solutions.
  • Own projects end-to-end from design and architecture to implementation and deployment.

We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have

  • Extensive experience in strongly typed, object-oriented or TypeScript-like languages.
  • Experience designing, building, and evolving robust REST APIs.
  • A strong belief in testing culture, prioritizing unit and end-to-end testing.
  • An appreciation for clean code, code reviews, and documentation.
  • Experience solving real-world problems with scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Familiarity with AWS (Serverless, SQS, SNS, etc) is a plus.
