Project Manager
COSECURE Enterprise Risk Solutions, an ancillary business of Cozen O’Connor, is a leading security consulting firm committed to creating safer workplaces, schools, and communities. We are adding a skilled Project Manager to our dynamic and growing team to manage projects collaboratively with our Project Leaders and clients to exceed expectations.
About the Role
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and supporting cross-team collaboration, ensuring the successful completion of client projects within the allotted timeline and budget. This role engages from the beginning of an engagement through closeout. It demands strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects across various vertical markets, and interaction with both clients and team members. Travel may be required up to 25% with notice.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients and Project Leaders to develop and define project goals, scope, and deliverables that support business objectives.
- Create comprehensive, client-specific project plans for clients and team members.
- Prioritize and assign project staff and resources to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Continuously monitor project progress and provide detailed scheduled reports on measurable items like milestones and deliverables.
- Proactively communicate project status, issues, and risks to all stakeholders, including Senior Leadership.
- Collaborate with Project Leaders to forecast budgets with Finance and Administrative teams, ensuring projects stay within approved budgets and managing accounts payable/receivable.
- Track time, scope, and level of effort for each project.
- Identify and minimize project risks throughout the project lifecycle by maintaining project management software/tools and communicating with key stakeholders.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Catalog project evaluations to review consistent themes across the book of business and make recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Project Management Professional certification (or ability to obtain within 1 year).
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
- Proven track record of managing and understanding all aspects of a project lifecycle.
- Experience in managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional work.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and project management tools (e.g., SmartSheets, Trello, Basecamp, ClickUp).
- Exceptional leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of change management and performance evaluation processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and challenging deadlines.
