Overview
The Maintenance Admin at Cox Automotive Inc. is responsible for overseeing the administrative day-to-day facility maintenance needs of the auction. This role is key to operating and administering the Facility Maintenance System (FMS) which involves managing over 300 preventive maintenance items.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and update the FMS platform
- Schedule preventive maintenance services and repair works
- Create and log work orders for call-in requests
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory levels
- Develop and sustain relationships with vendors and contractors
- Coordinate inspections, certifications, and update facility documentation
- Collaborate with department manager and FMS administrators via one-on-one and bi-weekly Teams meetings
Requirements
Minimum: High School Diploma/GED with 3 years' experience in a related field or equivalent education with related experience, strong knowledge of building infrastructure, maintenance practices, and safety regulations, excellent organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software, especially Excel.
Preferred: 2 years of experience in a facility administrative role.
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly base pay ranges from $14.71 to $22.12 depending on location and candidate qualifications. Additional benefits include paid time off, paid holidays, bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
