About the Role

As a QA Engineer at Cover Genius, you will embed quality in every aspect of our operations. You will develop advanced test frameworks, automate tests using tools like Playwright and Postman, and leverage AI for requirements analysis, test design, and automation code generation and review.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to author and refine requirements using generative-AI.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain UI test automation using Playwright (JavaScript) or similar tools.
  • Design and automate REST API tests using Postman ensuring comprehensive endpoint coverage.
  • Utilize AI-powered coding assistants to generate, refactor, and document automation code.
  • Conduct AI-assisted code reviews, static analysis, and thorough regression testing.
  • Investigate and document bugs, issues, and test framework challenges.
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging AI QA tools into CI/CD pipelines.

What You Will Bring

  • 4+ years of experience as a QA or Test Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience in web automation testing and solid JavaScript proficiency.
  • Proficiency in REST API testing using tools like Postman.
  • Experience with generative-AI tools for test design and code generation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, requirement analysis and communication skills.
